If you've watched any sports TV lately, you've heard the story that [tag]Tony Romo[/tag] spent time in Cabo with Jessica Simpson during his off week a few days ago. It has turned into the biggest story in sports which really sucks for the NBA. The NBA has games all over the place and all Sportscenter wants to talk about it Romo in Cabo, that's when you know you're getting beat like a drum. But I digress.

For some reason this is a big deal. We all remember when she came to watch him play a few weeks ago and he played horrible. The media tried to blame his play on her sitting in the luxury box. Talk about ridiculous. I've never played QB in the NFL, but I would imagine one of the last things on my mind during the game is who is sitting in the press box. Does he think "Jessica's here!" right before he tosses up a meatball over the middle? Give me a break. He played poorly because he played poorly, it happens. I don't care if Lombardi was up in the box, it was the last thing on his mind.

Now they are starting with this Los Cabos crap because some photographer took a picture from los bushes this past weekend. Let's get this straight.

1. Head coachWade Phillips tells the team to relax for a few days and rest.


2. Tony Romo calls up Jessica and says, "Hey, you want to go relax in Los Cabos?"


3. They go with a few teammates (NOT JUST HIM AND HER).

And now this will be the single reason for their struggles or possible loss on Sunday. Unbelievable. It's not even far from Dallas. It's a 2-hour flight from Dallas for God's sake. What if he went to Cleveland to see a cousin or something, would we even care? Another example that in the era of 24 hour news, the media will talk about anything.
