Pre/Post Fame Wives and You

Well not and you.  In fact this has nothing to do with you, the reader.  It's just a catchy title to get you reading and IT WORKED!

Still here?  Good.

How 'bout now?  Good.

Before we get started, I'd like to predict this year's American Idol Winner.  Danny Gokey.  Just Sayin'.

One of the things mentioned to me leading up to this year's Super Bowl was the fact that Brenda Warner would once again be plastered all over our high definition televisions during the game.  Good point, I thought.  She had been tucked away in Arizona for the past few seasons where only about 500 people a week watch her husband play football for the lackluster Cardinals.  Not anymore.  I'm not sure how many of you remember good ole' Brenda from husband Kurt's glory days with the St. Louis Rams but she looks something like this.

Just kidding.  I wanted to give you that just to soften the blow of this:

I know what you're thinking.  "I thought that was Kurt Warner's estranged Grandmother from Boca".  Wrong, that is in face his wife, or at least the person that was his wife back in the 2000-2002 era when the Rams were good.  The TV cameras couldn't get enough of her.  I guess it's like Jessica Simpson now that she's "curvy".  Before hand she was just Tony Romo's girlfriend, and now you can't find a tabloid without that picture of her in the black tank top on the cover.  But I digress.

So that was Brenda Warner circa 2000 or so.  And that's what I thought I'd be seeing during the Super Bowl this year after we came from all the Dorito's commercials.  Instead we got this:

Who's that chick making out with Kurt Warner?  Doesn't she know he's married?  Hasn't she seen what/who he's married to (reference pictures above)?

But it turns out that's her.

It's amazing what a Super Bowl trophy, some NFL MVP's, Super-bowl MVP's, and 8 years will do to someone (Oh let's not forget a large contract and some 'minor' surgery).

It's like a whole new definition of Pre-fame v. Post-fame wife.
